Brazil's Top Android Personal Finance Apps in Q1 2024: A Sensor Tower Snapshot

In the first quarter of 2024, Brazil's Android users have been actively engaging with personal finance apps to manage their budgets and expenses. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into the performance of the top five budgeting and planning applications during this period.

Splitwise, a well-known app for splitting expenses, showed a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at around 9K in the first week of January and experiencing a dip to approximately 2K towards the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 13K and slightly decreasing to 11K by the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $1.7K in the first week of January but saw a general decline, ending at $568 by the last week of March.

Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker experienced its highest weekly revenue early in January at $376, with a drop to $220 at the quarter's close. Downloads saw an initial spike of 1.6K, followed by fluctuations throughout the quarter, while weekly active users started at approximately 8.7K and ended at 7.8K, showing a slight downward trend.

Fast Budget - Expense Manager from AppFer SRL saw a similar pattern, with revenue starting at $373 and ending at $188. Downloads peaked at 3.3K in late January but generally trended downwards, finishing at 1.5K. Weekly active users started strong at 8.7K but decreased to 6.5K by the end of the quarter.

For YNAB, the quarter's revenue data showed a peak of $231 in late January, with a noticeable drop to $82 by the quarter's end. However, no downloads data was available for YNAB in this quarter.

Lastly, Money manager & expenses by the Slovenian publisher started with a strong downloads figure at 9.3K, which decreased to around 2.6K. Weekly active users were the highest among the apps, beginning at a remarkable 55K and ending at 43K, despite showing a declining trend. Revenue began at $168 and ended at $87.
